Projekt Cruising for a Bruising pozostáva z tridsať vysoko kontrastných fotografií. Fialová sieťotlač realizovaná na hovädzej koži svojou formou technického vyhotovenia prehlbuje ideu autorovho konceptu. Téma modrín na ľudskej pokožke tu reprezentuje naráciu pamäti tela a balancovanie na hrane medzi rozkošou a bolesťou. Proces portrétovania bol zámerne fyzicky náročný a psychologicky deptavý, bez toho aby na to boli fotografovaní vopred pripravení. Len oni samotní určovali hranicu, za ktorú už nechcú zájsť.
